Marmaris is a cosmopolitan resort, set on a large sweeping bay surrounded by pine hills & fresh water streams. There has been settlement in Marmaris bay since the 4th century BC but came to be known by its current name after the construction of the castle by Suleyman the Magnificent. Marmaris is a town which offers activities to suit all tastes & ages all year around: Clear Blue Flag passed sea, secluded bays, conservation woodlands.
