Hisarönü village is situated along the Datça road and is only 25 minutes drive from Marmaris. It sits on a beautiful bay amongst pine and olive clad mountains which sweep down to its beach. Orhaniye is a pretty village close to Hisarönü. It has a handful of pensions, restaurants and a rapidly expanding marina.  'Kiz kum' is an unusual spit of sand which runs into Orhaniye bay just under the water level, making this a fun walk as you feel that you are walking on water.

The area of Hisarönü has recently been surveyed &  registered Title Deeds are now issued for the area. The finalisation of the legalities for the exchange of the Title Deeds may take a little longer than in Marmaris due to the new system. Title Deeds may be obtained for land in Orhaniye in the normal manner. However, both in Hisarönü & Orhaniye, there are areas for which there is no building permission even though you may receive a Title Deed for a land purchase.  Building permissions have been applied for by these villages & is being considered by the Government Department concerned.
